Mary came to Bristol in 1960 and did a post graduate diploma in Social Studies. She has been here, on and off, ever since.
Mary became aware of the proposed formation of Bristol Mediation through the Quakers, and has been involved since the 1980’s. Mary looks upon her commitment to Mediation, as a way of settling conflict, as part of her peace witness.
